Midnight Ordeal
Hey guys. Remember the "almost burnt down the hall" story? Well, last night at around 2am, the fire alarm went off. I was sleeping ever so peacefully and the fire alarm made my body pump adrenaline all over. I was like, "huh? apakan? sapa lagi kacau fire alarm ani?". But, I had to go out into the clearing as any normal resident of the hall would. So, in a state of panic, I put on my glasses, got my tudung, and not forgetting, the most valuable thing of all - my jacket. In fact I brought two with me, just in case the temperature was low. So, off I went along with my fellow residents. As it turned out, the boiler was leaking and was giving off a lot of smoke.
The state of the other people around me were quite funny. In fact, we were all were. We were all in our pyjamas (not to mention, those larger than life floral prints or sheep or cartoons). hahaha!! Some were just wearing shorts. (gila, sajuk kali!!!). Some even managed to drag their blanket with them on the way out. You get the idea.
Anyway, the fire truck came immediately and settle the boiler. How? I'm not so sure. They can't actually put water on the boiler. hahaha!! Never mind. Oh well, that's my story. I hate fire alarms, firstly, it makes my adrenaline go (bad for the heart), next, you tend to fear about the real consequences if there was a real fire (nauzubillah), thirdly, it's a bit embarrassing, going out in your pj. hahaha!! Alright then...cheers~~
